Review: Echoes of You by Catharine Cowles

OHMYLANTA

Maddie and Nash. Nash and Maddie. This was such an amazing story, and yet again I'm completely in love with Catharine's characters. Maddie has been through so much, so when she needs to run, it's back home she goes. This town holds some bad memories for her, but also some of the best, with her best friend Nash. These two have been inseparable since they were five, so it's no surprise when she gets back that Nash immediately moves in without either of them thinking twice. I'm so glad that they finally both admitted to their feelings for each other. This book was filled with some of my favorite characters, and a good handful of new villains. There's Maddie's ex - Adam, her father who gets out of prison on parole, Dan - a town local who hates Nash for having everything that he doesn't have, Dan's sidekick whose name I can't remember because he's not worth remembering, and even a douche bag friend of her dads, who makes an appearance. It seems like everything is against her and Nash being together, but against all odds, they've got the most beautiful relationship. And then there's Clyde. I'm always excited when there's a new pet that shows up in a book. The bonus scene was amazing and I'm so fricking happy for those two. I have ideas in my head about who Roan & Grae end up with, but Lawson's still a mystery. I can't wait to read more of this series!

Blurb: Nash Hartley has always been my everything: Protector. Partner in crime. Best friend. The person who was there for me in my darkest hour.

But my heart wanted so much more. So, when I knew for certain Nash didn’t feel the same about me, I tried to move on. What a mistake that turned out to be.

Now, I’m back in our small town, desperate to escape my living nightmare, and the only person I want to see is
him.

As secrets are revealed, and Nash finds out what happened to me, he’ll do anything to keep me safe.

But there are those who will do anything to stop him, and this time neither of us may make out alive…
