Disappointed Part 2 (I don't think I can keep going)

So I just finished book three in this series and I don't think I can read any more. (See previous post for the first two books).       IDKY I thought this book was going to be better. It was so disappointing. FMC meets MC when his baseball team comes for a team building event. She has a fling with him and ends up pregnant. It was pushed so much at the beginning of the book that she loved photography so much but it wasn't talked about as much as I thought. She wins a magazine contest and gets a 4 week trip to go explore tourist spots and blog about them. One sentence she was showing up at her hotel and the next sentence the trip was already over. She goes home and decides she's going to move to where the MC lives and they can raise the baby together. MC talks down about her family and has really crappy thoughts about them.       Insight into the family: The FMC has always jumped from one hobby to the next so her family doesn't really take her seriously because eve

I know, it's been a bit with no update. I apologize, my mental health hasn't been great so I've been hibernating. Hopefully things change in the next few weeks and I'm able to get back into better moods.  So I found a new book series that sounded super cute. One of those small town romance series that has a twist or something happening part way through the story that makes the characters even better and stronger together. I just finished the second book and it's not really doing it for me. I'm going to finish the rest of the books because otherwise it'll drive me nuts, but luckily they're pretty short so I won't waste much time.  Not going to put the names of the books or the author out there, to start. I'm sure there are plenty of people who love them and they're not bad, they're just not really for me.  In the first book (Grumpy/Sunshine trope), the FMC is a semi-celeb who was part of one of those big city high school reality shows and

OHMYLANTA Maddie and Nash. Nash and Maddie. This was such an amazing story, and yet again I'm completely in love with Catharine's characters. Maddie has been through so much, so when she needs to run, it's back home she goes. This town holds some bad memories for her, but also some of the best, with her best friend Nash. These two have been inseparable since they were five, so it's no surprise when she gets back that Nash immediately moves in without either of them thinking twice. I'm so glad that they finally both admitted to their feelings for each other. This book was filled with some of my favorite characters, and a good handful of new villains. There's Maddie's ex - Adam, her father who gets out of prison on parole, Dan - a town local who hates Nash for having everything that he doesn't have, Dan's sidekick whose name I can't remember because he's not worth remembering, and even a douche bag friend of her dads, who makes an appearance.

Review: Love Me Not by Shayna Astor

Y'all, go easy on me, it's my first post and I haven't blogged in YEARS.  *Spoilers Ahead* I loved Chase and Liz so much. Or should I call them Satan's Spawn and Princess. The banter was there from the beginning and never faltered. Chase and Liz are both competing for partner at their law firm, and unfortunately have to battle for it while hating each other and working on the same high-profile case. From the beginning, while not happy about it, they work awesome together and everything is going smoothly. Until one when the tension become too much and they're all over each other. From then on, they can't get enough of one another and continue to bang every chance they can, including the supply closet and basement at work, while everyone else is oblivious to their excursions. Slowly the relationship develops into more without them realizing. Spending nights at each others houses, going on Friday night dates (Or as Chase calls them, "Two coworkers getting dinn
